The Greater Philadelphia Bioinformatics Alliance (GPBA) promotes efforts that meld vast amounts of biomedical data with cutting-edge computational tools to create a knowledge engine for bioinformatics research and development.

We do this by:

• creating opportunities to leverage resources across academic and research institutions throughout the Greater Philadelphia region
• fostering collaborative large-scale grant opportunities, and
• increasing connectivity, networking, and professional development in the life sciences.
